This robust, 4 module 1200 square foot ADU with attached 320 square foot deck is ready to live in, just a few short weeks after installation and only 5 months after permits were received! When the homeowner first discussed this project with us, it was unclear whether or not a second structure would fit on their property. We were able to identify the exact conditions that made it possible given a variety of constraints, including the steep terrain, setbacks, and HOA restrictions.

Because of our steel structure, we were able to engineer an integrated cantilevered deck into the design while saving excessive foundation costs. It’s highly likely that this design would have not even been feasible if built conventionally.
