This 1,765 sq. ft., single-story home reimagines Southern California modernism through a cascading composition of low-slung, pitched roofs. The angled roof planes introduce clerestory windows into the home, drawing in natural light and creating a dynamic interior experience while maintaining privacy.

The plan is organized as a series of interconnected indoor and outdoor spaces, including an internal patio adjacent to the kitchen that supports daily living and mirrors the design of the client’s previous home. An existing pool was preserved and integrated into the design, while the garage was developed to support pool use today and offer future flexibility as a living space or potential ADU conversion. Located in the Pacific Palisades and designed as a fire rebuild, the project balances architectural character, adaptability, and resilience within a compact footprint.
